Day 01: Arrive Chennai

On arrival at Chennai airport meet with our representative who shall assist & transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay at Chennai.

Day 02: In Chennai

Morning after breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing of Chennai, one of India’s four metropolitan cities and the capital of Tamil Nadu. With a fine synthesis of deep historical & cultural roots along with all modern developments, the city offers several tourist attractions to the visitors. Visit the National Art Gallery and Museum, the Kapaleeshwarar Temple exhibiting the best of bygone age architecture, Fort St. George and St. Mary's Church. Also visit the Marina beach full of frivolous activities and excitement and it is considered that any tour of Chennai is incomplete without a walk through its sandy shores. Overnight stay at Chennai Hotel.

Day 03: Chennai-Kanchipuram-Mahabalipuram-Chennai

Morning drive to Mamallapooram en-route visiting the famous town of Kanchipuram. It used to serve as the capital of the Pallavas and is called the city of 1000 Temples. Its 124 shrines are still highly regarded amongst the locals. Upon arrival at Mamallapooram transfer to the hotel. Sightseeing includes visit to several antique sculptural marvels. The huge sculptures cut-out of rocks dates back to more than 1200 years during the Pallava reign. Most of these carvings depict incidents like battles or images of Gods and demons, their artistic brilliance making them a true poetry in stone. Also visit the shore temple dedicated to both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu in its sanctum sanctorum. After the eventful excursions, return to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 04: Chennai-Trichy

Morning after breakfast drive to Trichy and upon arrival check-into the hotel. Our sightseeing includes visits to the Rock Fort, Tiruvanaikkaval Temple, Maariamman Temple and the Government Museum. Overnight at Trichy hotel.

Day 05: Trichy-Tanjore

Set out for a full day excursion to Tanjore, once the stronghold of Chola dynasty known for its cultural and traditional heritage. Sightseeing includes Sri Brihadeeswarar Temple, The PalaceThe Palace and the Royal Museum. Overnight stay at Trichy hotel.

Day 06: Tanjore-Madurai

Morning after breakfast drive to Madurai and upon arrival check-in at the hotel. One of the major towns of Tamil Nadu, Madurai is also called the ‘Temple City’ of India. The Chithrai Festival held here attracts thousands of devotees from all parts of the country. Sightseeing tour of the city includes Alagar Temple, Koodal Alagar Temple and the highlight of our tour-the Meenakshi Temple. Overnight at Madurai.

Day 07: In Madurai-Periyar

Morning after breakfast drive to Periyar, one of India’s well known wildlife reserves. Upon arrival check in at a wildlife resort. Post lunch set out for a boat ride upon the tranquil waters of Lake Periyar for game viewing. Overnight at Periyar resort.

Day 08: In Periyar

Early morning safari into the reserve accompanied by an expert naturalist to observe exotic animal species like Elephants, Wild Boar, Sambhar, Tiger, Wild Dog and Langur Monkeys. Afternoon free for leisure activities followed by overnight stay at Periyar resort.

Day 09: Periyar-Cochin

Morning after breakfast drive to Cochin known as the Queen of Arabian Sea. Located in the expanse of Vembanad Lake, we shall be proceeding for a houseboat cruise upon its famous backwaters. Overnight at Cochin hotel.

Day 10: In Cochin

Morning after breakfast proceeds for a full day city tour exploring the city & its tourist attractions including Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, Mattancherry Palace, Bolghatty Palace and Cherai Beach. Overnight at Cochin hotel.

Day 11: Cochin-Goa

Morning transfer to Cochin Airport and board flight to Goa. A famous holiday destination, Goa has all of the ingredients that make up an eventful stay. On arrival at Goa you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight at Goa

Day 12: In Goa

Full day sightseeing of Goa known as a land of white churches and golden sands. The Portuguese impact is seen through several famous churches located here including St. Cathedral, Church of St Francis of Assisi, Basilica of Bom Jesus and Church of Lady of Rosary. Also visit Old Goa known for its miles stretching beaches hemmed in by lush green hills. Overnight at Goa hotel.

Day 13: Goa-Mumbai

Morning transfer to Goa airport to connect to the flight for Mumbai. On arrival at Mumbai, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure activities followed by dinner & overnight stay.

Day 14: In Mumbai

Full day sightseeing of Mumbai visiting the famous Marine Drive, the Prince of Wales Museum, Gateway of India, the Hanging Gardens, Parsi Towers of Silence, the exotic Malabar Hill and the Kamala Nehru Park. Evening set out for a short excursion trip to the Elephanta caves known for the collection of rock art linked to the cult of Shiva. Overnight at Mumbai hotel.

Day 15: Mumbai - Departure

Indulge in some last minute shopping before being transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
